The 2025-26 regular season for the Denver Broncos went above and beyond the standard with a new superior brand of quality football. The Broncos haven’t hit the pinnacles that they’ve planned to reach but are well within reach after wrapping up the year with their final regular season victory against the San Diego Chargers.
Denver ended the season on a high note with a 14-3 record, and now officially the #1 Seed in the AFC with back-to-back appearances in the playoffs while achieving a plethora of many great accomplishments:
2025-26 End of the Season Achievements:
– Sean Payton became the 2nd Head Coach in NFL history after Bill Belichick with Tom Brady in New England with five 13+ wins in a season.
– The Denver Broncos are 11-2 when winning games that are within one score.
– The best record in the NFL in 1st place at 14-3.
– The only team in the league with a 8-1 record at home.
– Denver beat the defending Super Bowl Champions (Kansas City Chiefs)
– Denver Beat the Super Bowl Champion contenders (Philadelphia Eagles)
– Finished the season with the #1 ranked defense in the NFL.
– In Bo Nix’s 2nd season, he won the AFC Championship Title. (First time in 10 years, since the Peyton Manning era in 2015.)
– Bo Nix became the only Quarterback in NFL history with 7,500 passing yards, 50+ passing touchdowns, and 20+ wins within the first two seasons.
– Bo Nix also became a part of elite company with Peyton Manning and Justin Herbert as the only Quarterbacks in NFL History to log 3,500 passing yards, and 25 passing touchdowns in each of their first two seasons in the league.
– Nix is now 1 of 3 QBs to win 10+ games and make the playoffs in the first two seasons of his career, alongside Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson.
– Bo Nix was efficiently hitting his receivers with 700+ completions to become the 4th quarterback in history, joining Kyler Murray, Trevor Lawrence, and Justin Herbert.
– Bo Nix is now the only Denver Broncos Quarteback in franchise history to start in 14 wins in one season.
– The Denver Defense have the the most sacks in the NFL.
– RJ Harvey is the 3rd rookie since 1950 to have 7 rushing touchdowns and 5 receiving touchdowns in his first season in the NFL joining only Alvin Kamara and Gale Sayers.
– Harvey is also the first player in franchise history to log either a receiving TD or a rushing TD in five consecutive games.
A historical year for the Denver Broncos, and a brillaint showing from a variety of tremendous players including Nik Bonitto, who is now the first and only Bronco in franchise history to receive both the 2025 Demaryuis Thomas Team MVP Award, and the 2025 Darrent Williams Good Guy Award. Bonitto couldn’t be happier after his excellent display of skills on the field all year long as seen smiling from ear to ear holding up an award in each hand.
Sean Payton has done a faboulsous job giving this franchise a complete makeover and has proven why he is undeniably one of the best coaches in the league. Distinctly after showing the world how laying the groundwork, hiring the right personnel, and adapting to change takes time if done correctly with patience and persistence. This team has a lot to show for, and now it is Super Bowl or bust for the Denver Broncos now officially heading into the post season.
