Still balling and silencing the critics, week after week. The Broncos aren’t a joke. All they do is win, no matter what.
The division rivalry Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) playoff hopes are done and have been for quite some time.
Especially after being handed their 2nd loss on the season to the Denver Broncos (11-2), who sent them home packing for their early vacation on their way to offseason.
The Broncos took full control of the game early on. They possessed the ball for 40 minutes on 72 plays with zero turnovers to the Raiders 48 plays on offense. At one point during the game, the Broncos scored three times in 8 minutes.
Vegas went into this game knowing that they were already eliminated from the playoffs and were playing for dignity yet didn’t want to lose against their arch rivalry. Denver’s defense didn’t disappoint, while Bo Nix and the offense did just enough to add to the winning column to seal their spot as the number one seed in the NFL passing the New England Patriots.
Bo Nix finished the game with 212 yards, 1 TD, and 81.6% completion percentage. Not flashy, but efficient, and effective. Nix tied with Dan Marino, having the 5th most wins by a QB within the first two seasons with 21, and will likely tie or break John Elway’s franchise touchdown record week next week, gunning for 22 wins.
Nix’s 21st win solidifies him as the best quarterback of the 2024 draft class ahead of Drake Maye, Caleb Willaims, Jayden Daniels, Michael Penix Jr., and JJ McCarthy. A draft class of extraordinary talent of Gunslingers.
Denver’s last three games will be the most challenging gridiron battles of the year, considering the circumstances. The Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) are 1st in the NFC North division and can’t afford to lose, and the Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4) are 1st in the AFC South division and can’t afford an “L” either.
The Broncos final regulation game will be against Kansas City Chiefs (6-7). The Chiefs were just officially eliminated from the playoffs, but being the number one heated division rivalry, KC will try and do everything in their power to serve the Broncos up with a loss.
This coming Sunday, the Denver Broncos vs. the Green Bay Packers will be prime time football. Denver might be facing their toughest opponent when both teams face head-to-head this Sunday. All eyes will be on these two powerhouse teams.
