The Nuggets keep the streak alive and now total 10 wins in a row on the road. Nikola Jokic also passed Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, and Chauncey Billups in the assists category in the record book during last night’s victory in Charlotte. Joker is #53 on the all-time assists list, logging 5,635 assists in his career.

Tonight’s double-double (28 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds) was just another day for Joker; one rebound away from a triple-double. A more impressive statistic is Jamal Murray passing former/retired Denver Nuggets Ralph Simpson, and now have the sixth most points scored with (10,174) in franchise history. Jamal Murray was a problem for Charlotte all night, scoring a game high 34 points.

Murray is averaging 30 points over the last 7 games, and it’s almost as if the Nuggets play better on the road as visitors with the pressure on. When Murray and Joker are hot, while the rest of the squad is picking up the pace and sticking it to the other team on defense, there aren’t many options to be able to cool them off. Everyone is playing their part, and executing.

The Nuggets are off to their best start in franchise history and look to continue rolling through their long stretch on the road, making their way into Sacramento to battle it out with the Kings on Thursday night.
